The Hockey Atlantic Coaches Clinic is taking place for the first time in Summerside, PEI, Friday July 26 at the Credit Union Place.
Ottawa Senators Head Coach Paul MacLean, the keynote speaker, heads up a list of impressive hockey coaches and personalities who will present over the three day event. (A full updated list of presenters is available on the website.)
Organizers are excited about this event and strongly feel those who attend will leave as better coaches. Attendees will have a chance to get up close and personal with the presenters over the course of the day, with lots of opportunity for questions and answers. The list of special guest speakers will not only bring their experiences to the forefront, but will be able to relate to all levels of coaches with many having worked their way through the coaching ranks to get to where they are today.
Event organizers include Jim Clark, Professional Scout Ottawa Senators and Grant Sonier, newly named GM of the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL. Both are residents of Summerside
Register online now, or call Grant Sonier at (902) 315-4405 or Jim Clark at (614) 507-0892. Registration closes July 19, 2013.
